On May 26, 2025, the vibrant city of Fergana hosted the NomadMania Conference 5 at the Grand Fergana Hotel, bringing together global travelers, cultural explorers, and local creatives. CTN (Community tourism network) was honored to take part in this international gathering, representing the rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan through a curated artisan exhibition.

Our talented CTN artisans showcased a range of traditional handmade crafts, including textiles, ceramics, woodwork, garment and jewelry.

The small exhibition attracted the attention of many NomadMania travelers, who expressed great admiration for the artistry, authenticity, and cultural significance of the products. Several guests purchased handcrafted souvenirs, taking a piece of Uzbekistan’s heritage with them.

We were especially proud to receive high praise from Harry Mitsidis, the founder and director of NomadMania, who personally commended the quality and originality of the items on display. His support highlights the global appreciation for our artisans’ work and the importance of preserving and promoting traditional craftsmanship in a modern world.

In recognition of our contribution and partnership in the event, CTN was awarded a Certificate of Partnership by NomadMania. This certificate stands as a symbol of our growing collaboration and commitment to connecting local artisans with a global audience.

We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful event and look forward to future collaborations that celebrate cultural exchange and sustainable tourism through craftsmanship.
