About the Fergana Valley Community Tourism Network (CTN)

The Fergana Valley Community Tourism Network (CTN) is a growing network of local tourism and handicraft enterprises spread across the Fergana Valley in Uzbekistan, including Namangan, Fergana and Andijan Regions. Fergana Valley CTN aims to increase awareness of Fergana Valley’s unique strengths as a travel destination, enhance the travel experience by valuing and promoting local culture and people, and support the creation of economic linkages along the tourism supply chain.  

What is Community Tourism?

Community tourism refers to travel experiences owned, led and run by local communities. We value and promote traditional and contemporary culture such as food, handicrafts, art, history and tourism attractions.
