The Fergana Valley Community Tourism Network (CTN) is a growing network of local tourism and handicraft enterprises spread across the Fergana Valley in Uzbekistan, including Namangan, Fergana and Andijan Regions. Fergana Valley CTN aims to increase awareness of Fergana Valley’s unique strengths as a travel destination, enhance the travel experience by valuing and promoting local culture and people, and support the creation of economic linkages along the tourism supply chain.
Community tourism refers to travel experiences owned, led and run by local communities. We value and promote traditional and contemporary culture such as food, handicrafts, art, history and tourism attractions.

CTN works with its diverse network of members to create more immersive travel experiences and routes throughout the Fergana Valley that connect travelers directly to local artisans, communities and tourism providers in a way that values and preserves traditional and contemporary culture. This provides travelers a unique opportunity to really engage with local people and experiences in a way that keeps money local and supports small businesses.
